Minister of Economy and Trade Raed Khoury met this afternoon the Georgian ambassador to Lebanon

Minister of Economy and Trade, Raed Khoury, met this afternoon the Georgian ambassador to Lebanon resident in Jordan, Gregory Tabatadze accompanied by Consul Marcel David Khouzami where discussions tackled mutual ties between Lebanon and Georgia.
The ambassador shed the light on the importance of cooperation with Lebanon and the agreements concluded with the European Union and its neighborhood in addition to those currently under negotiation with China and India, stressing on the importance of developing the cooperation between businessmen in both countries and organizing forum to exhibit their products.
Furthermore, the ambassador stressed that the travel to Georgia is visa-free where direct flights between Lebanon and Georgia to be conducted for Lebanon to benefit from the Georgian infrastructure development.
On his turn, Minister Khoury emphasized on the importance of information and cooperation exchange in order to sign trade agreements that strengthen the mutual ties.
