Minister Raed Khoury Activities today

Minister of Economy and Trade Raed Khoury met this morning the new Hungarian Ambassador to Lebanon Giza Mihaeli in a protocol visit where Minister Khoury received an invitation to held a meeting for the joint economic and trade commission between Lebanon and Hungary within next November. Both parties discussed the bilateral ties and the necessity to increase the trade and investment between the two countries by boosting sectors of mutual interests as well as to improve the businessmen performance through establishing a Lebanese-Hungarian businessmen council.
Furthermore, Minister Khoury received the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih Al-Najjari during which discussions tackled the possibility to conclude back-to-back transactions between Lebanon and Egypt, especially that the government is tending to give the Arab Republic ofEgypt the priority to import the sand and gravel. Consequently, Minister Khoury asked Ambassador Al-Najjari to cooperate with Egyptian authorities in order to facilitate the entry of the Lebanese goods, in particular the Lebanese apple crops. 
In addition, Minister Khoury welcomed a delegation of the Syndicate of Money Changers headed by chief Elias Srour in which discussions considered the implementation of the syndicate activities showing a positive impact on the Lebanese economy.
