Minister of Economy met the Head of the Eastern Mediterranean region at the EBRD

Today, I met with Gretchen Biery, Head of the Eastern Mediterranean region at the EBRD. Ms. Berry expressed her cautious optimism on Lebanon’s prospects and noted that the EBRD is accelerating its technical assistance programs while considering a selective expansion of its investment portfolio. We also discussed widening the scope of the existing program of funding Lebanese SMEs.
